Cold Noodles For A Hot Summer Day

So I mentioned my love for frozen food in my chicken wing post and I'm constantly on the lookout for other easy foods too! Here is another one!
These days, the weather is SOOOO hot that it the current temperature now (it's night time btw) is like 31C? Oh gosh, imagine eating those steamy white rice and hot soup. Not today.
Today's recipe is referenced from Just One Cook Book though it's only because I can't remember how long I am supposed to cook it by.
Here's the ingredients and steps:
Ingredients
Dried soba or cha soba noodles (these are available at NTUCs)
Dipping Sauce (tsuyu) with water or dashi stock to dilute (also available at NTUCs but I didn't have this with me today so I used sesame dressing for salads to spice up the noodles)
Toppings (I didn't have these too so I eliminated them altogether but having green onions would be nice.)
Extra dishes such as tempura? (I don't like to fry stuff at home cos mine is an open kitchen concept. I found a can of tuna which i think matches it just fine!)
Steps (my favorite part of this recipe!)
Cook soba for 3.5mins (or as per instructions pack of your noodles)
Run through with cold water to rid the icky taste of noodles (according to Just One)(I added ice cubes to chill my noodles faster and it works for me! Yum yum!)
Mix everything together
SEE! In my opinion, it's even faster than instant noodles. Of course if you have an air fryer, you can quickly fry up some tempura or pork chops to go with it.
Taste: 4/5
Extra points for the cooling factor on a hot day! Note to self: to stock up on soba noodles and perhaps try out some of the dipping sauce in supermakets! Any recommendations?
