Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats I used baby oats. So convenient!

  • 2 tbsp oatmeal baby cereal For extra iron, can omit!

  • 1 cup filtered water

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (just apples as the ingredient) Just steam the apples till soft the night before.

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Steps

  1. Mix the oats, oatmeal cereal and water in a bowl and heat on the stove top

  2. Once cooked, mix in the applesauce and cinnamon until completely incorporated. Let cool until it reaches the right temperature to feed your baby.

  3. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for 3 days.

Extra points for ease of preparation. Healthy breakfast choice for baby.
