This recipe is from a friend's dad for a no frills but still yummy meal especially if you have leftovers in the fridge and don't know what to do with them!

Ingredients

  • Rice (I used 1.5 cups for 2 pax)

  • Chinese Mushroom (I used about 2-3 pieces, soaked overnight)

  • Dried shrimps (A handful)

  • Any other miscellaneous ingredients you have (eg mince meat, fish ball etc)

  • Sauce: Sesame oil, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce (for colour) and pepper

Steps

  1. Wash mushroom and soak it overnight to soften, you can pour the water into the rice cooker when making rice

  2. Cook rice as per usual I've tried using glutinous rice too and it's just as yummy!

Simple 2 step!

Taste: 4/5

Awesome with extra points for ease of cooking and less dish washing!
